about SARAH
Starting at a young age Sarah had dedicated her life to playing sports at a competitive level and understood her passion for exercise would later grow into a career. She was first introduced to Pilates in 2020 when her time as a collegiate softball player was halted by the pandemic. During this time she was rehabilitating shoulder injuries that stemmed from overuse and found Pilates to be an effective regimen to ease her aches and pains while building strength that lead to new personal records in the weight room.
Soon after starting her own Pilates journey she was inspired to share the benefits of the method along with her knowledge gained from her time as an undergraduate. Sarah graduated in 2021 from Cal Poly Humboldt with her B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science and Health Promotion providing her with in-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, nutrition for sport and exercise, as well as exercise prescription. During her undergrad she worked both in-person and virtually with clients to test and prescribe resistance training and nutrition plans to aid in clients reaching their goals safely, while considering any injuries or limitations present.
Sarah is committed to teaching clients the benefits behind each movement and how they translate into functionality outside of the studio to improve everyday life. She is driven to motivate clients to not only progress their Pilates practice at their own pace but improve their self confidence by encouraging them to see their individual potential. Sarah plans to further her education in the study of movement, nutrition, and holistic health coaching to provide clients with a whole body approach to health.
