
Meet Charlotte
Charlotte was first drawn to yoga in her search for community. Almost immediately after joining a local yoga studio, she enrolled in a teacher training program that promised to deepen her practice. One thing led to another, and before long she was teaching. She had found something she didn’t know she was looking for.
Always a helper, Charlotte soon found herself covering classes and learning along the way. This is how she discovered mat Pilates, which eventually led her to reformer Pilates. She believes that yoga and Pilates beautifully complement one another—even if they appear quite different on the surface.
In her teaching, Charlotte emphasizes the foundational principles of stability and ease, persevering practice, and non-attachment. She has been fortunate to study with many inspiring teachers, including Jesi Young, Amanda Correa, Nicki Doane, and Mark Stephens, each of whom left a lasting impression.
Charlotte is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and is currently working toward comprehensive Pilates certification through Balanced Body.
