Meet Jonny

Jonny has been a student of health, movement, and performance for most of his adult life. While his younger years were largely devoted to academics, he eventually recognized the importance of physical movement and began to make it a central focus.

In his mid-20s, Jonny immersed himself in strength and conditioning, eventually specializing in Olympic Weightlifting. He pursued formal training in these areas, learning from incredible coaches and going on to teach in multiple Chico gyms.

In 2021, he discovered Pilates as a personal movement practice and found it to be highly complementary to his existing training style. Experiencing both physical and mental breakthroughs nearly two decades into his movement journey inspired him to pursue formal training in Pilates, and he is currently working toward his Comprehensive Instructor Training through Balanced Body.

Jonny’s greatest passion in the health and fitness industry is witnessing the positive results of those around him. His teaching style emphasizes sustainable yet challenging progress, supported by motivation and accountability to help individuals achieve their goals.
