
Meet Vanessa
Vanessa first began practicing yoga in 2013 as a way to quiet the busy mind of a middle school teacher. Her journey began with an early morning Ashtanga class before heading to work. Vanessa quickly fell in love with the rigor of the primary series and the meditative experience it evolved into as she learned the sequence. Over the years her practice expanded as she explored Iyengar and various forms of vinyasa yoga. In 2018, she sought to deepen her practice and earned her 200 hr yoga teacher certification. All along the way, yoga has been a grounding force in Vanessa’s life; especially now, as a mom of two littles.
Vanessa is thrilled to be a part of the Pilates Barre team and share the amazing benefits yoga has to offer the mind and body. While her classes are rooted in the Ashtanga primary series, they break from tradition a bit in order to offer a more inclusive class.
